Why Questions Get Archived

Our content team audits course materials regularly to ensure they meet the latest curriculum standards and best practices. Questions that no longer meet these standards are archived twice a year—typically during the summer and winter breaks.

How Archived Questions Work

For existing assignments:

  1. Students can continue answering archived questions in active assignments.

  2. There is no visible indication to students that a question has been archived.

  3. Performance data from archived questions will still appear in all reports.

For new assignments:

  1. Archived questions cannot be added to new assignments.

  2. If you're reassigning an assignment that contains archived questions, you’ll be prompted to remove those questions before proceeding.

  3. If you’re assigning a draft or duplicating a folder with archived questions, you’ll also be prompted to remove those questions before proceeding.

Impact on Your Data

All historical performance data from archived questions will remain intact and visible in reports, allowing you to keep a complete record of student performance over time.
