When completing an assignment with a FRQ, students have the ability to type their FRQ response in the supplied text box. They can format text using the style boxes, as well.

Students have the ability to format text using the style boxes, as well.

Students can attach any associated video or audio files by selecting the landscape or links icons above the text box.

Students' responses will be saved if they move on to the next question or exit the assignment to pick up again later. However, students will need to click Submit Response in order for you to view their responses.

When assigning FRQ's with a timer, instruct students to submit their responses prior to the timer running out. If students do not submit prior to the time running out, their responses will not be viewable. If this occurs to one of your students, you can allow the student to resubmit their work by editing the assignment settings to remove the timer and then resetting their assignment status.
