Teachers often choose to make changes to assignments on Albert to accommodate students' IEPs or 504 plans or learning needs. Albert allows you to provide specific students with different assignments, additional time, or other modifications.
If you are creating a new assignment, select your questions, then navigate to the first screen of Assignment Creation, and select the dropdown arrow labeled Select Students for any classroom.
If you have already created an assignment and would like to re-assign it to particular students, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Assignments sub-tab in your class dashboard to locate the assignment
Click Options
Select Re-assign
This will bring you to the Choose Recipients page. From there, click the Select students dropdown arrow under your class name.
The dropdown will reveal all the students in your class, and you can pick and choose which students will receive the assignment. Once you choose the specific students, click Next.
From here, you can customize the assignment by giving these students a later due date, or additional time.
This is helpful if you're hoping to differentiate assignments by creating different assignments for different groups of students. Alternatively, you could create data-driven review assignments for just a few students.
