The Assignments tab lets you quickly view and manage all assignments you've created or that are assigned to your classes, including archived ones. The Assignments tab makes it easy to:

  • Reuse assignments year after year without saving them to folders

  • View and organize assignments across all classes in one place

  • And for Administrators, easily manage assignments you’ve created, even if you don’t teach any classes

Viewing Assignments

Click the Assignments tab at the top of your screen. You'll see a list of:

  • Assignments you’ve created

  • Assignments assigned to any class you teach (active or archived)

  • Note: Admins will also see assignments they created, even if they don’t teach any classes

Reviewing Assignment Details

Each assignment row shows key info:

  • Title: What you have named the assignment

  • Due date: Based on the default assignment settings

  • Last edited date: The most recent date the assignment was modified by you, a co-teacher, or an admin

  • Created by: Especially helpful if a co-teacher or administrator created the assignment

  • Assigned classes: Hover over the info icon to see how many classes the assignment is assigned to

Filter, sort, or search assignments

You can organize your list to quickly find what you need:

  • Filter by:

    • Status (Open, Closed, Scheduled)

    • Assigned class (Active or Archived)

    • Created by (Me or Someone else)

  • Sort by:

    • Last edited

    • Name

  • Search:

    • Type into the search bar to find assignments by name

Managing assignments

Hover over any assignment row and click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) on the right to take action. You can:

  • Edit the assignment settings

  • Duplicate and reassign the assignment

  • Save the questions to a folder

  • Copy the student share link

  • Delete the assignment
