With our Google Classroom integration, you can:

  • Import a Google Classroom roster to Albert.

  • Share Albert assignment links to Google Classroom.

Step 1: Setting up the sync

To post an assignment to your Google Classrooms, you must first sync your Google Classrooms with your Albert Classes. You can find the steps to that process in this Help Center article.

Step 2: Creating an Albert assignment

Our Assignment Builder feature allows you to easily create targeted practice from across our Library by filtering questions by standard, subject, topic, question difficulty, and question type.

After selecting questions that meet your students' needs, click the blue Assign button at the top right corner.

Once you have completed all required fields (assignment title, recipients, due date, when students will receive answers and explanations, and any other class or student specific customizations), click the Send Assignment button located in the top right corner.

Step 3: Posting to Google Classroom

You will see a confirmation screen after assigning your practice to your students. To post this assignment to your Google Classroom, under the Post to Google Classroom column, click Post.

Note: You will only see the Post button if you have already synced your Google Classroom to your Albert Class. You will be prompted to complete this step to continue this process.

After clicking Post, you will see a green confirmation banner on the lower left side of your screen.

Note: Any custom due date for at the individual student level will not be reflected in Google Classroom. Google Classroom will show the default due date setting for the class.

Teacher and Student View

After posting an assignment to Google Classroom, students will see an announcement in the Stream tab.

Students will also see the Albert assignment in their Classwork tab. The assignment will automatically appear at the top of the Classwork tab. You can drag and drop the assignment to the appropriate Topic.

After selecting the new assignment in the Classwork tab, students can click the linked assignment and complete their practice on Albert.

Note: Grade syncing with Google Classroom grades is not currently available on Albert. We recommend using the Chrome extension Grade Transferer.
