Does Albert have state-aligned content?

Learn about Albert’s practice content aligned to specific state standards.

In addition to Common Core alignment, Albert offers state-aligned practice content for many states. Aligned state content can be found in many core subjects by typing the corresponding prefix into the standards search tool. Additionally, Albert’s science content is aligned with The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

To search by standard with the Assignment Builder

  1. Use the filters on the left sidebar of the Assignment Builder to find standards-aligned questions.

  1. Click Add next to the Standards option to search by standard.

  2. When you select to search by standards, your preferred standard sets will be shown by default. You can make adjustments to your Content Preferences at any time.

  3. You can turn off your standard preferences when building assignments by selecting Your Standards and then toggling to All Standards. You can then type in your preferred standard set.

  4. You can search for standards by name (e.g., KC-1.1.I.A), category (e.g., CCSS), or description by typing into the search bar at the top right.

  5. Once you find standards that align with the content you are teaching, click on the checkboxes for the standard sets you wish to filter by. You can select as many standards as you want.

  6. Click Apply Filters in the bottom right corner when you're ready to see questions.

To search by standard in your subject

  1. Navigate to your subject guide.

  2. Click on the Standards search dropdown.

    1. Search for your state prefix or type in your standard code

    2. Alternatively, select the Standard Set button and type in your state name to search for only state-aligned content

  3. Select the checkbox next to your desired standard for practice.

  4. Click Apply.

In addition to content alignment, many of Albert's question types mirror the format found on various state assessments. Information on question types can also be found on your subject’s Overview tab.
