When completing an assignment on Albert, answers are automatically saved as you go. You have two options for navigating through questions: Skip For Now and Submit Answer.

  • The Skip For Now button allows you to skip through questions and return to them during the same practice session. If you choose to end and submit the assignment, then all questions with unsubmitted answers will be automatically submitted and graded. Any question you did not answer will be marked as incorrect.

  • The Submit Answer button finalizes your answer, and the guess will appear in your assignment data.

After you submit an answer, you’ll notice that the questions you’ve answered are shaded differently than unanswered questions when you click on the “Questions” dropdown at the top of the page. Once you submit an answer, you will not be able to go back and change your answer to that question.

When you attempt to submit an assignment but have not answered every question, you’ll receive a notification reminding you to go back and submit all of your answer choices. If you choose to end and submit the assignment, then all unanswered questions will be marked as incorrect. Any question that you selected an answer but then clicked "Skip for Now" will be automatically submitted and graded.

When you attempt to submit an assignment and have answered every question, you’ll see a confirmation modal.
